Dear 51³Ô¹ÏCommunity,

I am writing to invite you to , a wonderful family-friendly event here at Cal
State East Bay, Saturday, October 5 (9am-3pm) at the Music Lawn area.

Sponsored by Alameda County District 2 Supervisor, Elisa Marquez, this event is designed for kids of all ages to get excited about Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. It’s also a great opportunity for local families to visit the 51³Ô¹Ïcampus. For many, it will be their first time on our campus or on any university campus.

A sample of features include:

• Hands-on activities
• Animal attractions
• Egg drop event led by the Hayward Fire Department
• Lego activities
• Inflatable fun for kids
• Information on county services
• Sustainability information

I am so excited that 51³Ô¹Ïwas selected as the site for this outstanding community event. We hosted two years ago and it was a tremendous success. Many thanks to our staff and administrators who have been involved in planning.

I hope to see you and your kids (grandkids, nieces, nephews, neighbors, little brothers and sisters) here on October 5th.
